All Michigan residents 18 and older are eligible for community library cards to check out books for three weeks. A Michigan driver's license should be presented at Patron Services, located in the main lobby.
MSU identification cards also serve as library cards. MSU students, faculty, and staff who have not activated their MSU e-mail accounts must stop at Patron Services before checking out material to have their barcode numbers entered into the system.
