Chemical pricing information or the current market prices for specific chemical compounds can be tricky to find. We do not subscribe to a database that contains that information. You will need to consult multiple resources to try and find the information you are looking for.

ICIS Chemical Business: an online trade publication that will usually include pricing information from the market

MarketResearch.com Academic: a market research database

BCC Research: a market research database

Try searching one of our article databases (ProQuest One Business, Business Source Complete, or Factiva) to see if you can find an article talking about pricing. Try doing a search for chemical name AND pric* or chemical name AND production

SciFinder: After registering for SciFinder, click to go into SciFinder Login. You’ll see Suppliers in the left column. Click on it and do a chemical search. Once you get search results, you’ll need to export the results into excel and that will show prices. 

Reaxys: Search for a substance then click on the shopping cart in a record to view substance availability from commercial sources.
